Our Process: Inside a Typical Design-Build Project
We measure the space and begin considering floor plan possibilities based on homeowner priorities and budget, as well as applicable building codes and regulations.
After demolition, we make any framing changes called for by the new design, and do rough mechanical work, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. This all must be done right the first time, because drywall will cover up all the work and all mechanicals must be located correctly in order for cabinetry, appliances, and other features to be installed correctly.
This work is followed by rough inspections. Once those are cleared, drywall can be installed. |
After that, any remaining trim and finishes are completed, and the project is done!
